WAP Field Coordinator

Resources for Seniors, Inc. is seeking candidates for a WAP Field Coordinator in our Weatherization department located at the Main Office. Under the direction of Housing and Home Improvement Director, the WAP Field Coordinator will work with Program Coordinator to assist the auditors/ QCI professionals with administering the Weatherization Assistance Program for Wake and Durham Counties.

The qualified candidate would meet the qualifications listed below:

  • 2 years of experience working within a Weatherization Program
  • BPI certification – QCI
  • Clean driving record

Essential Duties of the Position:  

  • Assist auditors with pulling POs, send work orders, and follow up with subcontractors to ensure project efficiency;
  • Assist with the hiring and training of any additional field staff;
  • Assist Energy Auditors with NEAT/HMEA specifications;
  • Respond to subcontractors’ questions about Weatherization Standard Work Specifications (SWS) and ensure they are meeting those standards;
  • Coach, advise, and mentor subcontractors where appropriate;
  • Order tools and supplies as needed;
  • Assist auditors with required training and certification;
  • Track job progress to ensure yearly goals are met;
  • Organize client folders following current protocols;
  • Handle client complaints related to weatherization activity;
  • Motivate and build positive rapport with peers, subcontractors and clients;
  • Conduct field audits and post work inspection in the field as needed.
