Information Services Program Manager
RFS is seeking candidates for a Program Manager of I & R located at the Main Office. The Program Manager will direct & assume responsibility for all functions of the Information Services Department under the direction of the President of the Agency.
The qualified candidate would meet the qualifications listed below:
• Comprehensive knowledge of services for older adults, the disabled, and caregivers along the continuum of care;
• Management experience is preferred;
• Comfortable with public speaking and representing the organization as a member of our management team;
• Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field, and 4 or more years’ experience in the field of aging or management
• Knowledge of RFS policies/procedures;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products and WordPress;
• Basic knowledge of database systems.
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Oversee multiple programs and supervise / direct a team of Information and Assistance professionals performing diverse roles. The manager will be
responsible for agency outreach and forming/maintaining external relationships, including identifying and pursuing potential funding sources;
• Ensure that quality information and assistance services are being provided to the public and RFS employees;
• Supervise and coordinate operations of Information Services department;
• Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion of the Information Services role at RFS;
• Develop an agency volunteer network;
• Expand knowledge of RFS and its services throughout the community;
• Ensure compliance with contract and service agreement requirements;
• Identify and pursue opportunities for agency funding and support;
• Represent the agency on committees and community partnerships as assigned;
• Develop the department budget;
• Monitor use of funds dedicated to programs within department; implement changes as needed;
• Produce the annual Directory of Resources/sell ads for the directory;
• Maintain the agency Information and Referral database;
• Maintain and update the RFS website content.
